Hosting a birthday party for your kid in any season other than summer, can be really challenging. My birthday is in January, and now we have kids born in late November and early April, and the weather is always getting in the way of outdoor plans. You never really know if you’re going to get a great day for sledding, a slushy mess, or a full on blizzard! Even in summer, you never know when a sudden storm will derail all your plans.
But there is hope! I’ve been collecting a list of indoor options and there are so many great ones. Here is a list of local indoor birthday party spots for your child’s next party, in order of cost.
TED KNIGHT SASKATCHEWAN HOCKEY HALL OF FAME
For all hockey loving kids, this party gives you exclusive use of the hockey simulator for a whole hour.

- Includes 1 hour in the hockey simulator plus one hour at a party table outside the simulator.

LT. COL. CLIFTON CENTRE
This rec centre is a great option for kids who love to run and play! Bring any of your own game equipment and play away in their gymnasium. We love to deliver our inflatables for a few hours to parties here!

- Available every day, year round.
- Includes 2 hours with the gym and lounge.
- Room for up to 100 people.
CINEMA TWIN
Bring your friends to the movies with you! Watch the latest feature films at the Cinema Twin and have your whole party on site.
- $50 + regular admission for guests
- Available in conjunction with regular showtimes.
- Includes party room for one hour before the movie, free admission for the birthday child, and express ordering for regular priced concession items.
- For a minimum 6 kids (11 and under) and 1 adult. Room for up to 15 people.
SWIFT CURRENT MUSEUM
For creative kids or big fans of family game night, head to the Swift Current Museum for a great birthday party option.

- Includes 2 hours in the museum and your choice of craft or the Settlement Survival Game (a real life board game!).

ICE RENTALS
Kids love to skate? Why not rent a sheet of ice and let them let loose for a while?!

THE SOCIAL BOWL
Bowling is a classic birthday party option. The Social Bowl has made it easy to host thanks to their partnership with Pizza Hut.

- Includes 2 hours of bowling, party table, and food options.
- Starts at 6 kids. Upgrade for more.
SWIFT FUN PARK
A great option for kids of all ages. Who doesn’t love playing on a giant jungle gym?

- Available Sundays to Fridays.
- Includes 90 minutes of play, 60 minutes of which is open to the party room.
- Starts at 6 kids. Upgrade for up to 30.
HOME INN & SUITES
A great swimming option with a waterslide. If you have a little fish, this is the place for you.

- Available Mondays-Thursdays from 5-9pm.
- Includes 1 hour in the pool room.

BRONCOS PIZZA HUT PARTY
Another great hockey option is to attend a Broncos game and cheer on our team with all your friends.

THE DANCE STUDIO
If your child loves to dance, this is an amazing option! Choose from a variety of dance styles and host your party at this great studio.
